Captain'S House Hotel - Skala (Kefalonia)

Sea view room upgrade was a pleasant surprise.

the hotel was gorgeous and spotlessly clean, it had free wi-fi, its location was stunning near the centre. the staff was excellent and delivered marvellous service. guest room was newly furnished, the beds were extremely comfy. the bathroom had a bathtub, which was great.

Location: the hotel was so close to the beach and main street of shops and restaurants and town amenities. We booked a good-sized room with clean towels & sheets, everything was great.

This hotel is in an awesome location, super close to the beach and loads of tavernas. The staff were realy friendly. Room was cleaned daily which I appreciate and the value for what we pay was just great. We even got a sea view room, a nice surprise!

The breakfast was a bit too simple for my taste.

my stay was improved with the hotel's perfect proximity to Skala Beach, just a short stroll away, and I loved exploring the local eateries, including Ta Pitharia, just a few steps from my room, making my weekend full of delicious meals and beautiful sea views.

The location is spot on. Right across from the beach and just a short stroll to several local eateries and shops. The daily cleaning service ensures everything stays tidy, and the sea view from the balcony is a perfect spot for morning coffee.

The noise from the nearby bar until 1 a.m. makes it tough to drift off, so bring earplugs. The extra charge for air conditioning felt out of place for a hotel of this type, and the lack of mosquito nets on the windows led to quite a few bites .

the shower was really tiny,, but the staff were super friendly and helped with my luggage (thank you! ). the breakfast selection was simple but satisfying, and the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach.

Such a quaint little hotel, but that noise from the Captain's bar till 1 a.m. was an abomination! Who lets guests pay extra for air-conditioning? Absolutely ridiculous! I nearly considered a good review, but i felt entitled to a complimentary upgrade for all my troubles. Petty, really.

Couple suitable for relaxing getaway

The personal touch in service was amazing! Anna's cheerful demeanor, and I found myself ordering more just to see that smile.

It was a bit pricey, but honestly worth it for the experience.

The extra charge for air conditioning felt unnecessary and was an unwelcome surprise. While there were notable positives, the challenges affected the overall experience.

Awesome air conditioning made our stay super comfortable. Mini gym needed maintenance.

pleasant stay with minor room constraints

All the staff were very friendly . The room was meticulously clean, with high-quality linen and towels. The small balcony added charm, where I enjoyed the lovely garden view each morning.

The room was quite small, which may not suit everyone.

The room fit for a king is really impressive - it's got a nice bathtub, a private attached shower, and they keep the towels and sheets super clean. 🛁 the service here is top-notch, and the food they serve is absolutely fantastic.
